How-to have KDE 3.5.x on openSUSE 10.3 up to date
This text describes, how to upgrade KDE on openSUSE using YaST and openSUSE Build Service.
Step 1 - define installation source
Use menu Start -> System -> YAST (Administrator Setting).
Click on Software Repositories.
Then Add new HTTP source - KDE Core Packages with server: download.opensuse.org and directory /repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_10.3/.
Step 2 - install last KDE version
When you have defined this source, you can use Software management YAST option...
...and choose Package groups, select zzz All, make right click over packages listbox,
and choose All in This list -> Upgrade if newer version available. Press Accept to
start downloading packages.
Finally, new packages are downloaded and installed.
